Location

Hotel Museumzicht is ideally located between the Museum quarter in Amsterdam Zuid and the city centre. See "Hotel".

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

From Central Station trams 2 and 12 in no more than 15 minutes straight to the hotel. Name of stop: Rijksmuseum. Other option is de metro, line 52, From Central Station and Amsterdam Zuid, name of the stop: Vijzelgracht. From here a few more minutes by foot. To or from Schiphol airport bus number 397 takes less than thirty minutes. Departure every 15 minutes. Also a night service. Local fare: 6,50 euro.

CAR PARKING

Amsterdam parking places on the street are scarce and expensive (€ 6 per hour, from 9 in the morning to 12 at night). May be safer but certainly not cheaper: parking garage ' Museumplein ' à € 3 euro per 20 minutes with a maximum of € 48 per day. Other option is parking your car past the end stops of tram 5, this is free of charge, but not guarded of course. The 'Park & Rides' offer a good alternative. Lower in cost and guarded.
